Commemorative Clock Tower
Leave Your Mark in Circle Pines
A beautiful landscaped plaza exists and resides in the Village of Circle Pines south of Lake Drive. This park-like oasis at the heart of The Village provides community members with a place to meet and greet each other.
In addition to a prominent commemorative clock tower, the plaza features park benches and a walkway of paving bricks engraved with the names of the individuals, families, companies and organizations that together make Circle Pines such a special place.
You can commemorate your place in the history of Circle Pines by buying a brick engraved with your name, the name of a loved one or your business or organization name. The bricks encircle the clock tower, reminding all who come together here of the people, businesses and organizations that have contributed their time, money and effort to building this community.
If you would like to buy a brick or would like more information, you can call city hall at 763-784-5898 or check out the brochure link below.
On December 12, 2006 the final piece to Heritage Commons was put into place, the obelisk. Circle Pines community history, list of area pioneering families and families petitioning for incorporation as a village, and a map and descriptions of places in the community are all inscribed on the obelisk. The obelisk is a great way to celebrate and display our community and its history. Be sure to stop by and take a look.
The obelisk was donated by Connexus Energy.
On June 21, 2006 the community celebrated the dedication of the commemorative clock tower in Heritage Commons in Circle Pines. Individuals came to view the final work of the clock tower, the history walk, plaques, mayor bricks, benches, and other bricks that were donated. Coming this fall we are looking forward to the oblesik that has been donated by Connexus Engery. The obelisk will stand underneath the clock tower and will contain the history of community.
