Drivers license renewal and testing in this area is done at the Arden Hills location off of 35W and County Road I. If you have any questions call 651-639-4057.

Parking on City Streets
No vehicle should be parked on any street in one place longer than twenty-four (24) hours.

There is no parking on city streets from 2 a.m.-6 a.m. from November 1 to April 1.

There is no parking on city streets when it has snowed two (2) or more inches.

There is no parking on city streets in the residential area near Centennial School during school hours. Parking permits for residents in that area may be obtained at city hall.

Junk Vehicles
Definition of a Junk Vehicle
Any vehicle, either self-propelled or so designed as to be drawn by or pushed by another vehicle, which cannot be legally operated on the public streets as a result of being damaged, unregistered for the current year as required by state statute, inoperable due to mechanical malfunction, missing such parts as may be required by state statute for the lawful operation thereof or possessing such component parts and equipment as may be contrary to the requirements for such vehicles as set forth by state or local authorities.  The term junk car shall also include any and all devices manufactured for, or primarily used upon, any vehicle capable of being operated upon a street, highway or roadway, such as tires, motors, axles, transmissions, differentials or other similar devices or equipment.

Junk Vehicles Prohibited
No person operating or having physical control of any vehicle deemed to be a junked vehicle as defined above shall keep, place, park, store or allow to be kept, placed, parked or stored said junked vehicle on any private lands for a continuous period longer than ninety-six (96) hours, unless said  junked  vehicle  is within a building on private lands and obscured from the public view.

 No person shall service, repair, replace parts or do maintenance work on a junked car on a public street, nor on any private lands or premises unless it is within a building on such private premises.
